Review
KillWinamp 1.61 is a shut down timer for Winamp or your computer.
It can be used to close Winamp, stop playing the current song playing or it can shut your computer down after a certain number of minutes or songs played.
It does not require Winamp in order to turn off the computer.
KillWinamp 1.61 will NOT RUN If you are running Winamp 3.x without the Winamp 2.x plugin manager. You can install this plugin directly from the Kill Winamp start menu group.
The program can be set to shut down WinAmp or stop it after a chosen amount of time in minutes, or after playing a chosen number of songs. Once you set the timer, you will need to hit the "Activate!" button to start the countdown.
You can also set KillWinamp to shut down your computer after a given amount of time.
In the Options menu you will find some settings that you can use to fine-tune KillWinamp 1.61.
You can allow a ten seconds time to abort the shutdown, should you wish to do that.
You can display how many songs or how many time is left after shutdown in the windows title. You can allow the program to play a song a minimum of seconds before shutting, and more. |
